I’m a British creative from London who’s first love will always be music, but I’ve written screenplays, had my words fly around the world for British Airways and acted in a few indie movies too.
I was raised in West Sussex with family roots in London, so my calling was always to return and grow-up in this endlessly inspiring city. Camden, like many was my playground as I performed on the usual circuits as a solo artist; I also did a stint in a glam rock band before taking a timeout.
In my musical hiatus I turned to another big love - the screen. I co-wrote and co-starred a feature film that went on to play at Raindance, Cannes, the Edinburgh Film Festival and was released in cinemas across the UK. I wrote a few short films, sketches and expanded my writing to print and digital at this time, including a fun column in Purple Magazine.
My path as a ‘spiritual realist’ came to the forefront during lockdown through a Kundalini awakening. I kept this side of my life private for the first few years, but as my spiritual experiences have grown I’ve naturally evolved them into my creative work which honours my love of communication and creation. A pull back to music happened of course, and I continue to write for other artists, collaborate with brands and write and release solo music as it comes.
I don’t think we need to be any one thing, and I have to no intension of limiting myself or my creative endeavours. I rather love blending my muses and being my authentic self in my work, whether I’m singing, writing or shedding light on our collective consciousness. After all, the joy of music or the comfort of a shared experience helps people in different ways and that’s what I’m here for.
